Main Street Capital Holdings, LLC is a small private equity firm located in Pittsburgh. The project consisted of redesigning the website to demonstrate their capabilities in working with companies ranging from mid-market values up to large-dollar enterprises. The challenge was to find meaningful imagery that made it easier to digest the text heavy content.
The first mood board explored incorporating blues to the original green and gold brand guidelines to add a more professional, clean and modern value system. I also researched main street signage to extract shapes, textures and font styles. After multiple working sessions with the client, we merged contemporary concepts with a more traditional color scheme.
The final product was developed in WordPress CMS using Advanced Custom Fields to customize the sections in the backend and make it easier for future updates. For development best practices, the code was written using HTML5 and Sass.
